Joshua Walker -- CEO
Throughout his career, Josh has helped people take advantage of technology innovation to improve their businesses. Prior to founding CityVoter, Josh was an Entrepreneur-In-Residence at General Catalyst, an early-stage venture capital firm in Cambridge, MA. He joined General Catalyst after more than seven years at Forrester Research, a leading technology market research firm. At Forrester, Josh held several management positions and launched one of the fastest growing products in Forrester's history. When he left Forrester, Josh was Vice President and Director of the Consumer Markets research group. Josh graduated from Middlebury College.
Michele Davis -- COO
Michele has more than fifteen years of management experience. At CityVoter she is responsible for developing the organization, coaching managers managing financial performance, and optimizing product development. She also manages the research team and coordinates CityVoter's outsourced data entry teams. Michele comes to CityVoter from Forrester Research where she was the VP of Strategic Growth. In this position, she was responsible for all aspects of human resources in the Americas, with a specific focus on creating new systems for accelerating successful hiring and developing employees. Michele played a key role in the acquisition and integration of Giga Research.. Prior to Forrester, Michele transformed John Harvard's Brew House from a single operation with 85 employees into a national chain with more than 1,000 employees. In this role, Michele traveled extensively in the field to provide one on one coaching to managers. She holds a BA from Emory University and a MSW from the University of Connecticut.
Jeremy Walker -- Director of Technology
Jeremy heads product development and technology operations for CityVoter. Prior to joining CityVoter, Jeremy was a senior software engineer at Avanade – an Accenture and Microsoft joint venture. At Avanade, he worked on several high-profile projects for clients such as the Department of Defense (SERVE-FVAP) and Wachovia. Before joining Avanade, he gained valuable media and advertising skills on technology teams at Mindshare – a WPP company, and Prospero Inc. – an online community service. His experience with media buying and placement, online voting, and financial services applications brings a wealth of enterprise software expertise and leadership to CityVoter's technology team. Jeremy graduated from University of Vermont.
Kathryn Maguire -- Vice President, Business Development
Prior to joining CityVoter, Kathryn worked as Director of Marketing and Asset Manager for Lyme Properties, one of the largest life sciences property developers in the United States. Kathryn joined Lyme Properties after working at Forrester Research. At Forrester, she was a Senior Sales Manager, with Fortune 500 clients in such diverse industries as healthcare, energy, consumer products and industrial manufacturing. Some of her clients included Abbott Laboratories, Kimberly-Clark, Snap-on and Toro. Kathryn's experience with sales, client management and marketing brings a wealth of experience to CityVoter's business development team. Kathryn is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.
Caralyn Quigley -- Director of Marketing
Caralyn comes to CityVoter from AspenTech where as Senior Program Manager in the Corporate Marketing organization, she led the strategy, creation, and program implementation for top company initiatives, sales enablement, and events. Her accomplishments included developing a program integrating web seminars and email newsletters to achieve record-breaking results. Prior to Aspen, Caralyn worked at Symantec as a Product Marketing Manager in the Data Center Management group responsible for delivering training, collateral, and software demonstrations to their global sales force. Symantec acquired Relicore, where Caralyn was the Senior Program Manager. Caralyn's experience also includes marketing positions as Astrum Software (acquired by EMC), StorageNetworks, and Revenio, as well as technology sales positions at GTE (now Verizon). Caralyn graduated from the University of Washington, BA with honors.
Joe Sadowski -- Chief Architect
Joe has more than seven years of enterprise software development experience. He is responsible for developing CityVoter image management system as well as optimizing site framework, performance, and design. Prior to CityVoter, Joe worked for Concentra, a leading insurance services company where he was responsible for the company's medical billing service. His experience with medical document storage and retrieval has been an asset for ensuring that CityVoter can scale to handle future categories and regions. Before joining Concentra, Joe built claims processing applications for a Boston-based managed care workers' compensation company, Managedcomp.
Stuart Cannon -- Director of Design
Stuart comes to CityVoter with extensive cross-channel design experience. Most recently, Stuart was a senior designer at Orange where he developed prototypes of visual and interactive concepts for cell phone applications, user interfaces, and potential mobile services. He began his career working for London.com developing quality maps and pictorial tourist guides for London visitors. Stuart's work included an "Above Ground" map of the London Underground network. After London.com, Stuart worked for EF Education where he coordinated the printing and global distribution of 3.5 million catalogs in 26 languages and co-directed photo shoots worldwide. Stuart led design efforts for an EF Education spin-off called Englishtown where he developed brand identity, the flagship web site and all printed materials. Stuart graduated with a BA Honors Degree in Graphic Design, London College of Printing and a Diploma in Graphic Foundation Studies, Hertfordshire University.
