We cut through all the ratings, rants, and reviews on the Internet and help consumers find the very best local companies. CityVoter does this by providing local business owners with the ability to upload photos and information about their businesses and then inviting consumers to vote for their favorites.

Media Associate

Description: Media Associates are a critical link in the development of relationships with local business owners and our media partners. In this position, you will work closely with a Media Partner Manager to ensure the successful management of the launch and post launch acitivities of specific cities across the United States. You will be engaging with the owners of the very best restaurants, shops, salons, health and fitness locations, and more in each of these cities.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist local businesses during the launch phase by answering questions, orienting them to our product and engaging them around our value propositions
  • Manage ongoing communications to the owners, such as upcoming promotions, refreshing their content, etc.
  • Drive the development of the monthly newsletter product to consumers
  • Present the service offerings available to business owners and guide them in making decisions about which ones are right for them
  • Interact with media partner contacts in assigned cities
  • Make outbound sales calls to targeted customers and respond to inbound inquiries
  • Assist in the sales order process and fulfillment of local business owner advertising packages
  • Follow up on all advertising sales purchases to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Research and build new guides

Requirements:

  • BA/BS with solid academic performance
  • At least one year of client service or sales experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Working knowledge of Excel
