Interactive Online Guide Kicks Off with Annual Contest Inviting Viewers to Vote for the Best Eastern Iowa Businesses

Cedar Rapids, Iowa (January 1st, 2008) - KCRG-TV9 today announced that it has launched the A-LIST powered by CityVoter. The A-LIST is the premier destination for local information, featuring descriptions, photos, videos, maps, and real-life customer comments on the top local businesses. The A-LIST provides local businesses with a platform to easily create, manage, and promote their own web content and gives consumers the power to choose the best businesses and post comments, photos, and more.

The 2008 A-LIST kicks off on January with a "best of" contest inviting visitors to chose Eastern Iowa’s best local businesses. During the A-LIST vote, people can logon to KCRG.com to nominate and vote for their favorite businesses and share photos and reviews. In addition, every voter can enter to win a HDTV. The contest runs January 28th-March 23rd. Winners will be announced and posted the week of March 31st.

The KCRG-TV9 A-LIST offers local businesses a free online presence and easy-to-use tools to manage their listings, saving them time and money and connecting them with online customers.
