Online Guide’s Second Annual Contest Featured More than 1,600 Indianapolis Businesses
Indianapolis IN, (August 25, 2008) WRTV today announced the 2008 category winners of TheIndyChannel.com A-List, powered by CityVoter.com.
The first set of winners was revealed today on www.theindychannel.com/alist. New sets of winners in selected categories will be revealed every day and will be posted on the website. The second annual competition invited thousands of residents of Central Indiana to vote for their favorite businesses on www.theindychannel.com/alist.

TheIndyChannel A-List is the premier destination for local information, featuring descriptions, photos, maps, and customer recommendations on the area’s top businesses. The A-List provides local businesses with a platform to easily create, manage, and promote their own web content and gives consumers the power to share their expertise with votes, nominations, reviews, ratings and more.
Since debuting in 2007, TheIndyChannel A-List has almost tripled in size, currently featuring information, photos, and reviews on over 1,600 local businesses. The 2008 contest drew roughly 70,000 votes for more than 100 categories such as Sports Activities & Clubs, Ice Cream Shop, Wedding Photographer, Burger, Day Spa, Pilates Studio, Sushi, Art Museum, and Live Music Venue.
